After breaking viewership records with its blood-soaked trailer, the soon-to-be-released Mortal Kombat movie reboot has fans bouncing their legs with excitement.
While it remains to see how well the movie will be received overall a number of outlets and content creators recently received a treat in the form of a 13-minute viewing. Let’s just say that it didn’t disappoint.
With the movie’s release in cinemas and on HBO Max in North America drawing ever closer, one YouTube channel by the name of Jekester has re-created the entire Mortal Kombat trailer using LEGO. Yes, you read that right: LEGO. Backed by the trailer’s original soundtrack and dialogue, each piece was painstakingly animated and edited over the course of a month. The result is an incredible re-creation that deserves a look and a like!
