One of the most recognisable of horror icons is set to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster next week in the form of Ghostface from the Scream franchise.
Initially thought to coincide with Halloween, Ghostface will be made available for early access starting November 19. Armed with his signature knife and tape recorder, Ghostface presents as a wild and unpredictable kombatant set to both appease horror fans while unsettling others.
We won’t spoil the contents of the trailer, but the conclusion of Ghostface’s Fatal Blow is particularly stomach twisting. His second Fatality is also shown off, and it’s a good one. After much debate we can also confirm that his Animality is indeed a vulture.
