With the release of the Khaos Reigns expansion for Mortal Kombat 1 only one week away, the identity of the kombatant who turns into a gorilla has finally been revealed.
Lauded as one of the coolest transformations teased in the Khaos Reigns announcement trailer, many believed that Reptile was behind the finisher, having previously turned into a gorilla in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. While almost no one guessed Smoke, one eagle-eyed user on X noticed the scar on the gorilla’s eyelid bore a resemblance to that of Smoke, and the rest is history. Good catch!
