This day will not end well, as the Cleric of Chaos and Keeper of Time Havik sets out to spread anarchy and instability across the realms.
Flanked by wildly colourful and unique backgrounds and costumes, the upcoming Khaos Reigns expansion for Mortal Kombat 1 will no doubt be a wild ride. Banding together to fend off the threat of pandemonium, fighters from both Earthrealm and Outworld must work swiftly and effectively as a team.
Launching alongside the Khaos Reigns bundle will be three immediately playable kombatants, which include Noob Saibot and the newly re-imagined Sektor and Cyrax. Of course players will also receive the addition of Animalities as part of a free update; this video shows off some additional animals including a woolly mammoth and phoenix.
Most notable is the return of a Towers of Time mode, which provides varied timed towers with unique modifiers and scenarios. This at the very least should appease those who were finding it tough to put additional time into the game.
Finally, we get to see one of Ghostface’s Fatalities, who will join Conan the Barbarian and T-1000 as additional kombatants down the line. We won’t ruin it, but it is particularly brutal.
