Kameo fighter Ferra will have her release delayed by one month, and will instead launch alongside the final Kombat Pack 1 DLC fighter Takeda on July 23.
Confirmed via a post on the official X account of Mortal Kombat, the team at NetherRealm Studios have decided to spend extra time to ensure that she “can assist to the best of her abilities.” Given her small stature and unique play style, we applaud the team for making this difficult decision to ensure that she her gameplay is not exploited.
Both Ferra and Takeda Takahashi, son of the blind swordsman Kenshi, both made their debut in 2015’s Mortal Kombat X. While Ferra fights alone this time around minus her former teammate Torr, the inclusion of Takeda marks an exciting conclusion to Mortal Kombat 1‘s first Kombat Pack.
