With the subsequent release of the new Mortal Kombat movie in cinemas and on HBO Max less than a month away, Funko have unveiled a new line of Pop! vinyls inspired by the film.
This new wave come with a metallic finish and feature newcomer Cole Young, as well as Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero and Scorpion in both a standing and crouching pose. Scorpion’s standing variant also includes a 1 in 6 chance of shipping with an unmasked Chase variant.
After an initial delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mortal Kombat is set to release worldwide on April 16. The film stars Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Josh Lawson as Kano, Tadanobu Asano as Raiden, Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Chin Han as Shang Tsung and Sisi Stringer as Mileena.
