With Halloween fast approaching, NetherRealm Studios have dropped a trailer for their new Masquerade skin pack, introducing “Wicked Witch” Jade, “Calavera” Liu Kang and “Psyko Killer” Kabal.
Priced at US$5.99, these premium skins come in a variety of flavours and are available now.
The studio have also announced a free Mortal Kombat 11 event for all players in celebration of Halloween. The event will introduce four new boss fights with different Halloween themed modifiers in the form of flying witches and bats, falling pumpkins, rising gravestones and sprinting black cats that will be integrated into matches. Players will also be able to earn new Brutalities, Halloween-specific consumables, player module pieces and other in-game rewards.
Finally, a new Team Raid multiplayer mode will be introduced on October 18, introducing a fresh tower to the Towers of Time mode in which two or three players must work together as a team to complete group challenges and defeat a powerful boss.
