NetherRealm Studios have this morning unveiled the latest character to join the Injustice 2 roster: Doctor Fate.
Possessing the powers of magic, super-strength, invulnerability, telekinesis, telepathy, pyrokinesis and lightning manipulation, Fate’s mastery is said to be invaluable in the fight to overthrow Superman’s regime.
The son of an archaeologist, Kent Nelson and his father were exploring the Valley of Ur in Mesopotamia in 1920 when they discovered an underground pyramid. Upon closer inspection they found it contained Nabu, an ancient immortal from the planet Cilia who had been held in suspended animation for thousands of years. Upon his release, Nabu mentored Kent on the secrets of the universe, granting him his incredible powers through total molecular control. He would later serve as an agent of the Lords of Order and aide the Justice League in their fight against evil.
