Hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement that Mortal Kombat X will be receiving a mobile companion app, IGN have posted a screenshot showcasing the blind swordsman Kenshi in action.
The image depicts Kenshi and his team comprising of Scorpion and Kitana finishing off Kotal Kahn’s squad to take out the round.
Kenshi last featured in Mortal Kombat (2011) alongside Skarlet, Rain and Freddy Krueger as one of the title’s four downloadable kombatants. He most recently made a cameo appearance in the first issue of the official Mortal Kombat X comic, where it was revealed that he fathered a son, Takashi Takeda.
Mortal Kombat X will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when it launches on April 14, 2015. In addition, it will be available for both iOS and Android devices in April.
