Soul-comprised warrior Ermac has been unveiled as the next kombatant to join Mortal Kombat X, his inclusion announced during NetherRealm Studios‘ second Kombat Kast.
Hosted by Tyler Lansdown, Derek Kirtzic and Paulo Garcia, the trio showcased a short trailer before delving into some hardcore gameplay.
Spectral, his first variation, gives him the ability to fly for a short duration and unleash unique attacks from the air. His Mystic variation gains him the ability to use his Tele-Lift and Tele-Push telekinetic abilities. Finally, Ermac’s Master of Souls variation allows him to utilise his Soul Ball move and also vanish to avoid damage.
Mortal Kombat X will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when it launches on April 14, 2015.
